About

Nilemada.com is a hobby software project to develop simple applications to use with among other things, photography related tasks.

Very simply put, I put up software here that I have written for myself that I think may be of interrest to someone else.

The applications can be either Java applications or native depending on how they were developed (for the nerds out there, I mostly use Java or Lazarus , an Object Pascal environment similar to Delphi) .

All applications on these pages are free for you to download and use.

Platforms

All the software here is mainly developed for Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems (those are the ones I have access to).  However, as I use Java and Lazarus for development, the software can (at least in theory) be made to work on any other platform as well. Please ask if you need some of the software on another platform than it is released on currently.

About me

My name is Sverrir Valgeirsson and I live in southern Sweden. I used to be a proffessional developer (now work with other things at a big technology corporation near by) and have worked with everything from early web (perl/C++) to ASIC design (verilog/VHDL) to embedded software and modern web (C#).

I’ve always programmed alot as a hobby since I enjoy experimenting and learning new things/languages and I also happen to enjoy photography alot as well (thus the photography bias of the applications).

I hope some of these programs will be of any use to you, and if not, thanks for stopping by anyway.
