devDB 2.02 Released
New version of devDB has been released. This version adds sound support for agitation and better error messages for the agitation string.

Other darkroom software
As you probably know since you’re here, I’ve written an application for keeping track of my development data that’s called devDB. I think it’s a nice application since it does what I want it to and it can do it on any platform I may use (it works on my PC with XP but also on a cheap netbook with Linux should I get one of those to have in my darkroom and on a Mac should I ever become a mac user again).
But there are others that I’ve seen since I wrote my application that I thought I should mention here for you to try if you feel like devDB isn’t what you need. (I haven’t used these so I have no opinion on them).
For windows there is wlab/dlab by darktools software. It’s freeware and seems to have all sorts of cool features.
For mac, there is FND by bambooapps. It’s shareware and is also available on iPhone.

devDB 2.01 Released
New version of devDB has been released. This version adresses minor bugs and some polishing of the UI.

devDB 2.0 for Linux now available
A Linux download has been added to the download page. However, since there are alot of different distrubutions for Linux available, there is no custom “launcher”, just the .jar file.
To run the program, type: java -jar devDB-all-2_0.jar on the commandline (or make a shell script to do it). (this also works on windows and mac if you for some reason prefer this method).

devDB v2.0 for windows released
New version of devDB has been released. The big new feature is the agitation aware countdown timer.

devDB 1.1 for Microsoft Windows released
For portability the application has now been ported to Java. As user, you should not notice any difference except that Java 1.5 of later is required for the application to run (it will send you to java.com if you haven’t got it installed).
For those allergic to Java, the old 1.02 version is still available for download and is completely compatible with 1.1.

devDB 1.1 for Mac OS X released
I had some enquiries on if a Mac version of devDB was possible, and it turned out to be doable. I have very limited access to a Mac, so the application could use more testing, but it seems to do its work just fine.

devDB for Mac on its way
Significant process has been made in porting devDB for Mac. This has involved a complete rewrite (the old databases will work with the new version).
Expect a release during the week.
